Main chappal theek karaane gayi thi market parso (day before yesterday). Wo aadmi bori (Jute bag which is used to pack grains mostly) par baitha hua tha. Shirt fataa hua tha par clean tha. He also looked poor economically, but he was clean. His shop was on the floor, but it was clean too. There was sunlight falling on the floor directly. That was absolute poverty and a complete mess, but it still looked calm. He fixed that chappal. Maine pucha kitna hua toh wo bole 10 RS. Maine 20 diye. Wo kevel ten liye. Maine 2 baar bola ki theek h rakh lo, wo manaa kar diye. He made himself busy with his regular business. There was no proud feeling on his face after rejecting the extra money I offered. He was normal, as if nothing had happened. The sun rays kept on falling on the floor, and I returned to my home, taking back much more than the 10 rupee service.
